June Elise one month old, really?

The first month has come and gone. WOW, it was all a blur. Having a newborn, a 21 month old, a husband that works 6 days a week(leaving me 2 to 3 days at a time), now having only one car to drive(which Nathan takes to work, because I am not driving my kids to drop Daddy off at 2 in the morning), basically on only 4 hours a sleep in a 24 hour period, and trying this whole breastfeeding thing are only a few things I have had to endure this past month. So, if you are wondering where I have been this past month, I am in crazy town, going bonkers. I am in love with my new precious addition, June. Other then her baby acne and cradle cap, she is beautiful. She is such a good baby. Not a big crier like my first born. She grunts a lot though and it's funny. Cheryl is so wonderful with her. She has her moments that she acts like a true two year old but she is pretty great. I am going to start a new venture with her now. I want to start potty training her...I think. She also took a nose drive off her crib and freaked me out, so we are in the process of converting her crib into a toddler bed then soon she will get into a twin bed. Lots of changing for that little girl lately. She has been so patient(as much as a toddler can be) with me as I devote so much of my time with June, lately. I can't wait until they can play together. That will be fun.
I am not like most women, I don't like being pregnant, I don't like newborns, and I really don't like breastfeeding. Now don't get me wrong, I Love my little girls and love to be a mom, but I don't like to feel out of control and those things make me feel that way. I am so blessed to have two beautiful daughters and a wonderful hubby too. I am getting sleep now so that makes mommy very happy.
XOXO-Erin

gorgeous daughters! congrats:)
So Cute!! can't wait to come see you. Love you and your cute family.
She is so cute!

That is a whole lot to handle! I think it took me about 5 months to get used to having a 3 year old and a baby, so I can't imagine a 21 month old!

And good job with the breastfeeding. It does take a lot of dedication and hassle, but it's such a good gift to your baby girl!

I'm sooo with you...I too hated being pregnant (this time around) and did not like the newborn phase. Though I love breastfeeding, it's wonderful, and if you keep it up it WILL get better!
Now with Potty Training I have the MOST wonderful and easy going potty training method called 3 Days Potty Training...YEAH! 3 days! AND IT WORKS!
For me it took 7 days but it was b/c I was VERY sick with a terrible cold and feeling miserable and so was Gus.
If you'd like I can send you the book, it's a e-book. Email me at thabataeri@gmail.com
t's hard working but sooo worth it. I did it las month with Wyatt and he's diaper free for a month, tells me when he needs to go, holds if he has to, wakes up dry from naps I'm just not rave enough to bite the bullet for night time so I put him in pull ups, but we're ready to take them away too. Also he's starting to go potty on his own...And I give 100% credit to the 3 Day Potty Training method

January 5th, 2009!

Cheryl Love Christopherson was born on 01-05-09, weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces, and 18 inches long. Happy Birthday, we love you! We went to the hospital at 2a.m. Monday morning to be induced for labor, they gave me Patocin to get it going...I was already dilated to 3 centimeters at that time. At around 11 or so I received the wonderful Epidural, Yeah! I still was not progressing, and next thing we knew Cheryl was not handling the contractions very well. They had to turn the Patocin off and turned the Epidural off...because I couldn't feel my legs at all. The doctor said if we don't progress and the contractions keep bugging the baby then we would have to do a C-section. Great! I thought...get this over with already....I don't care how! Well, I didn't have to have a C-section after all and by 5 p.m. I was finally in full dilation. Witch meant...Time to push, I pushed for 2 hours and there she was, a beautiful little girl at 7:18 p.m. What a long day, to say the least! Ther...

Boy or Girl?

Does anyone want to know if we are having a boy or girl? Well, I went to the Doctor on Tuesday, while Nathan was in Salt Lake working. They have the ultrasound technician there only on Tuesdays and there was no way that Nathan could be there because he goes to SLC every week for work. So, we didn't want to share the pictures from the ultrasound until Nathan saw them first. Then we had another appointment at the doctor's for a check up on Friday. I am gaining so much weight it is disgusting. Before I went to the first appointment, I gave our baby a pep talk...you know, to be photogenic and all that. Our baby did so good. Oh, I haven't said what we are having, have I!? Okay, no more stalling, boy oh boy, we are having a baby girl! We couldn't be happier, and now we can buy tons of pink. She is so active...keeping me up at night already. She really doesn't stop moving. So far, I think she takes after me...Nathan is so mellow and she is anything but that right now. I gu...

Does anyone have a trank gun!

Sometimes I feel like a toddler, discovering my belly button for the first time. My belly button is so unrecognizable now. The only problem I am finding about being pregnant is all the body changes. I mean, weight! Being thin for 28 years then ballooning up in a matter of months has really scared me. I know, I know, everyone says that I will loose it all very quickly, but I still don't like it. At church I looked down at my feet and ankles and realized that I no longer have any ankles...they have morphed into cankles...Yuk! I was so discussed that I almost threw up. I wish I was one of those women who don't gain hardly anything and don't really look like they are pregnant until they give birth. Okay, enough of poor me! It's not hard to remind myself that I am pregnant though...I can't go an hour without her kicking me. There is life in there...I am so happy whenever I can feel her. I am happy really easily...just give me chips or ice cream and I am fine. Which isn...
