New Stuff

We now have a 6 month old that requires some solid food and we had no where to feed her. We have a small place so not a lot of room for a big high chair, so we got a booster seat convertible high chair thingy. Well, whatever it is...it works really good. Cheryl loves it. I was watching the news one day and it said there were crib recalls and then I saw our baby's crib on the T.V. Great! Now we have to get a new crib. We got the crib as a set, the crib, dresser and changing table. Well after a few hours of investigation calling wallmart(where we got the crib), I found out that we had to return the whole set. We got our money back and purchased a new crib and changing table on Amazon.com, but we currently have no dresser. We are using some laundry basket's for Cheryl's socks and things for the time being. I am going to have to keep going to the D.I. to find a dresser. I love that place. Anyway, lots of new furniture. XOXO-Erin

Solids

Cheryl is now eating solid food...or slobbery food. She has been eating rice cereal for a few weeks and she loves it. We tried some Applesauce and she hated it. We tried some sweet potatoes and she loved it. She ate like to whole container. We try and eat as healthy and organic as possible. She is getting much messier. XOXO-Erin

The first for...

Okay, so the weather has been not that good lately. Until Friday. Nathan was off on Friday and it was a great day...so you know what we did. Yep, went to the pool. Cheryl had her first swim, and the water was a little chilly so we went to the hot tub and the water was just right(I sound like Goldie locks). She wore a diaper, because I was afraid that she would start pooping all over, and by the time we were done...which was about 10 minutes, her diaper was very heavy full of water. What a heavy baby she was. She also had her first apple. Well, sucking on what I ate. It was really cute. XOXO-Erin

New Pictures and...

We went out in the bright sun and took some pictures of the dresses that I made her before they don't fit her anymore. I guess I should have thought of making them in a few different sizes, oh well. I am going to make this blog private, so if you actually want to read this stuff then let me know, my email is christopherson_6 at q.com. I am canceling the other blog I started too...too much work. Can't keep up with it. Also I am now on facebook, can't decide if I like it or not. I get bored one day and start too many projects...I don't know! XOXO-Erin

Family!

We took our first Family pictures. Just wanted to share. XOXO-Erin, Nathan and Cheryl

She is such a talker!

I am now hearing strange noises coming from our little girl. I thinks she wants to talk to us! It is sort of a cross between a cry and a voice of our feisty chick. We took pictures at Target and can't wait to send them out. Finally a picture of all three of us. Wow! Life is still the same for the Christopherson's. Nathan is working a lot more and I am as busy as I can be. It has warmed up in SLC and I couldn't be happier. We actually took a walk today. Our little chicky baby is very temperamental. She is starting to know how to push mommy's buttons. She also loves music and, laughs at the ABC song every time. She is very fun! XOXO-Erin

Bunny Love

My cute little Bunny! She makes me smile...and laugh. Not a lot to do inside when the weather is bad...except dress up. WooHoo. I am making a skirt for Easter...cannot find anything in the stores, so I got out some fabric I had. I am also listening to conference today and yesterday....really good talks. I am missing Nathan desperately! He is stuck in Wyoming for work. Well, back to sewing. XOXO-Erin

Up to date...

It has been a while since I have wrote anything. I have been really busy trying to get a routine down with our new little girl. She now sleeps all through the night and takes a few naps during the day. She turned over for the first time on exactly the two month old mark. She is growing so much and we couldn't be happier. We will be doing easter pictures soon. I got sick and then got Cheryl sick, but we both got better. Then we went to St. George for my Grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. It was like a reunion because all of my Aunts and Uncles and cousins and their kids came. It was so good to see all of them...I haven't seen them in years...but that is going to change. Most of them live near me now, so I am super excited I have so much family close by. I have started doing Avon with my Aunt Christy and my sister in law Vivian. I have started another blog too, just for me...please check it out it is, givemeacandybaraday.blogspot.com. XOXO- Erin

Cheryl's blessing day!

Make a Smilebox scrapbook

What a cutie!

This weekend was very exciting, Nathan blessed our beautiful little girl. I will blog and put pictures up soon on the blessing. I wanted to show a cute little video of Cheryl trying to crawl. Back to exercising with Gilad on T.V. He really tires me out. XOXO-Erin

Dr. Dr.

We went to the Dr. for a two month check up, and everything looks good. Cheryl is now 10 pounds, 12 ounces and 22 1/2 inches long. She is getting really heavy. She has a little bit of cradle cap and a rash caused by this wonderful winter weather. I just have to up the lotion dosage more. She is in great health and was smiling and happy with our new Dr. She loves mommy, and loves to sit up. She is noticing a lot more and smiling when she gets her diaper changed. We got a new swing for her, and she would much rather be held...darn it. I am doing good too. Dr.said I can exercise more, so I am happy about that....the pounds are coming off, but coming off slow. We have a gym in our new apt. complex, so I have been going in there when the weather is bad. That stair climber is brutal. She is being blessed on Sunday and we can't wait for all the family to see her. For those of you who can't make it...I will definitely post lots of pictures of her in her beautiful white dress. I mus

We have a baby...now what?

I thought that squeezing her out would be the hardest thing I could do. But, I was wrong. No one told me that the after effects of labor would be so painful...I tell you what...my tailbone hurt so bad I could barely sit. Not only did I have to deal with healing from a traumatic experience of labor, I had to try and get her to breast feed every one to four hours, try and sleep and eat, and learn that my world is now turned upside down. The only thing that makes it worth it, is when I look at her beautiful face. Bytheway, breast feeding is not all it cracks up to be...I really didn't mind it to much, I just don't think that she wanted to do it. She had a hard time latching on and staying on. I gave it a really good effort, and decided to go with the bottle. I am so glad I did. Ever since then, she is now sleeping better and gaining weight. Thank heavens for formula. I have to say...if anyone decides to bottle feed instead of breast feed...don't give them a hard time about it.
