Sweets!

Lots of sweets this holiday season. I also made a birthday cake and sugar cookies. And I will be making another birthday cake soon. Yummm...I love treats and sweets! XOXO-Erin

Christmas 2009

Christmas this year was a lot of fun. Cheryl is only one...so she really didn't know mostly what was going on. We had a big breakfast and then opened gifts. The first toy Cheryl opened she didn't want any more...she just wanted to play. Thanks, everyone who gave us gifts. Then we snacked and had a big Ham dinner. Christmas day was really nice...lots and lots of good food. Day after Christmas we went to Park City and ate at Fuego's for lunch and Yellow Snow Ice Cream for desert...I guess I am always hungry. After that we took our sled to a little hill at a school and played for a little while. Cheryl was so bundled that I couldn't tell if she was enjoying it or not. But, we had a lot of fun. All in all we had a really great Christmas. We got to spend a lot of time with Nathan and that was great! We missed family but I am sure we will spend other holidays with you all. Love you all, XOXO-Erin

Oh yes...we can dance!

30!

My wonderful hubby birthday is the 21st. I first made the mistake of asking Nathan what kind of cake he wanted. He usually says...oh, honey whatever...just pick something. Well, this year he said...I want one layer vanilla cake, one layer chocolate, with vanilla frosting in the middle and chocolate on the outside. I said okay...I will make it. Now we have more than half a cake to eat with just the two of us. If anyone wants cake...come over and have some. We went to Rodizio Grill and it was so good. Everyone has to go there. And then we went Christmas shopping at the mall along with everyone else in the world. We then went home for some cake and ice cream. Yum....I am still full. Happy Birthday Nathan! We love you. Thirty is no big deal...still young and very handsome. XOXO-Erin

Our little Termite

Cheryl now officially has four teeth. She won't let me take a picture of her teeth, but I have proof. She has definitely made a mark on her crib. Just like her Aunt Joi. She is walking sometimes too. Mostly still crawling though, very fast. She can crawl faster than she can walk, so she drops to the ground and crawls where she wants to go. Her new favorite snack is Bananas covered in Cheerios. Yumm. She makes me laugh every day, always smiling and happy. I love it. She is almost a year old on January 5th. If anyone wants to get anything for her, she would love money for her new Savings account. I can't believe she is going to be ONE. WOW! XOXO-Erin

Sick Anniversary

Nathan and I were married 6 years ago on the 6th of December. Wow...it went by so fast. I can't believe in 4 years it will be 10 years of marriage. Nathan is kind, sweet, adorable, smart, funny, and loving. He is the best Husband and Father that any wife could ask for. We didn't really celebrate our anniversary because, we all got sick this week and it was bad! We must have had some bacteria(according to the Instacare Dr.). So, we just hung out at home all weekend. We were supposed to go out on an actual date but Cheryl was too sick to have a babysitter. Thanks Grandpa Joe for giving me a blessing. I seemed to do better after that. We are all much better now. I guess that is the life of being parents. Happy Anniversary Babe! XOXO-Erin

Turkey Day and Crock Pot Turkey

I finally put the pictures on the computer from Thanksgiving. It was so much fun. We went to Idaho to Grandma Gardner's house. We had good food, family and of course, card games. We went on a walk around the Temple in Idaho Falls and it was beautiful. My parents came out from California to visit Grandma and it was so good to see them. What are the Holidays if you don't have family. On Saturday we were home and we had our own little Thanksgiving dinner. I decided to cook our little Turkey in the crock pot and it was the best Turkey I have ever had. It was moist and perfect. Yumm...we are still enjoying left overs. I am so thankful for my wonderful husband and beautiful daughter. I love the Holidays. But not the holiday shopping. XOXO-Erin
