Blankets for the Baby

Ever since we wanted a baby we have been collecting baby stuff. Including baby fabric. Since I sew and have a sewing machine...I started to put together all the baby fabric that I have and make some baby blankets. So far I have six blankets. I also have some fabric books that I need to do. Here are some pictures of the blankets that I have done. I love to sew...it is just so time consuming. I have some fun new facts about my baby too. Right now he or she is starting to grow fingerprints. Cool, huh!? Well, I thought that was interesting. XOXO-Erin

Some of my favorite pictures that I have taken.

What is happening to my Body!?

No one told me that I would turn into a Porn Star. My boobs were always very big. It runs in my family. I just didn't expect them to be this big. I have already had to change sizes and it looks like I need to change another size. I weighted them on a scale and they are each 5 pounds...that is 10 extra pounds added to my ever growing body. Not only do I have big boobs, but I now fart and burp as much as any guy. So, to feel pretty is kind of out of the question right now. For how many noises I make...it doesn't matter if I actually got a boob job...because that is how I feel. I just didn't have surgery and it looks as if I did. It's not really sexy to be kissing my handsome husband and start farting in the middle of it. I am so disgusting right now. Up until now, I told Nathan that women just don't do those things...because we are lady's right!? Ha, some lady I am right now. I apologize for anyone who takes offense to these things...not every women fart's an

Erin's latest Prego Appt.

I had a Doctor appointment on Monday the 14th. Same day as my friend Danielle's birthday and my Nephew, Daniel's too. Happy Birthday guys! The appointment went good. I am now a lot heavier and the most that I have ever weighted in my life. I am not saying how much. I guess the routine is, pee and a cup, give some blood and we'll see you in a month. I am really happy that everything is going so wonderful. My legs are not cramping any more...so really other than my ever stretching skin I am great. Next appointment I will find out what we are having. Which is in about five weeks. Then I can buy pink or blue. How exciting. I also got to hear the heart beat again...and the nurse found it really quick, so that means that everything is going great. I am starting to feel fluttering inside, so I know that our baby is active already. This whole baby thing is still so surreal. I can't wait...time is going by so very fast too. XOXO-Erin

Little friend in the garage!

Nathan was very busy this weekend. He put the baby room together and cleaned the garage out to fit the truck inside. As he was organizing or actually shuffling stuff from one side to another, he found a mouse. I know...we just moved in and already we have little creatures in our midst. We are thinking that we brought it with us from our old house. So...what do we do now!? Well, as I was watching to make sure the mouse didn't run in our house, Nathan shewed it out of the garage with broom. Our garage is connected to our neighbors garage by a wall. So, the funny thing is that the mouse ran right into the neighbors garage! The good thing is that the truck now fits safety in the garage without any mice. Yeah! Nathan you are good! That mouse would have lived in there forever if it wasn't for Nathan. Thanks, honey for protecting the fort. XOXO-Erin

We have a Baby Room!

We now have a crib, changing table and a dresser. Yep, we now have a place for the little one to be. We were so excited that Nathan stayed up late to set everything up. Of course, I was not allowed to help...that is a man's job you know. We still have quite a bit to get, but we are surely on our way. Thank you, thank you Bonnie and Joe for the much needed furniture. You two are so wonderful, and we are so happy that you are in our lives. I also found a rocking chair at a Thrift Store for only ten dollars...I am going to recover it of course. Our baby's room is coming together. XOXO-Erin

Foods that make me say YUCK!

I am usually a very picky eater...only because I am allergic to many foods, not because I don't like them. Now I really can't stand to eat certain things. Here are a few... I can't stand eggs. Smelling cooked vegetables makes me gag. Nathan loves to eat speghettios...can't stand those either. As for the smells that I love... I can't get enough of Peaches. I love the smell of meat...specially steak. I love mini wheat's cereal. And I am eating more sugar than I have ever had before. (probably not a good thing) There are a lot more things I could add but I try not to write too much at one time so everyone wants to read the whole thing. I read that my baby can actually move it's fingers and even suck it's thumb right now...pretty cool huh? XOXO-Erin

Independence Day!

I love America! God bless America! We are so privileged to live in a free country. Nathan and I started seeing our neighbors getting on their roof tops and we figured that we could see the fireworks from our house. So we drove our truck over to the church behind our house and sat in the back of the truck and had a perfect view of the fireworks. They were small town fireworks but pretty good. We weren't stuck in traffic and we didn't have to worry about a crowd. The views are always amazing when you don't have any smog to worry about. I am so happy that we live in Utah, I love it here....I just wish my brother and sister's did too. XOXO-Erin

Family Fun weekend!

I am 12 weeks and counting...9 months seems like such a long time to incubate a baby. Although it is going by fairly fast. I am not pucky any more and I am feeling so much better. The only pain I am feeling is when I am going to bed, my legs start cramping up bad. I am eating a banana and taking calcium before I go to sleep...and so far nothing is working...I hope something does soon...or I just might cut my legs off. Any suggestions, anyone!? Anyway, I went swimming at my Grandma Campbell's with Aunt Jenny and Nathan, it was a lot of fun. Even though I got really burnt. The burn is finally starting to go away. I think I got sun poisoning because I felt really sick for a few days. I don't think I am going swimming again for a while. The bath tub will have to do for now. Also, we had a birthday celebration at my in-laws with Tina and Brad too...thanks for the ice cream cake...it it almost gone. And thanks for the movie...everyone should see Get Smart...very funny. We also had a
