Solids

Cheryl is now eating solid food...or slobbery food. She has been eating rice cereal for a few weeks and she loves it. We tried some Applesauce and she hated it. We tried some sweet potatoes and she loved it. She ate like to whole container. We try and eat as healthy and organic as possible. She is getting much messier. XOXO-Erin

Birthday!

Okay my birthday was on the 25th. I am now 29. I really don't feel that old. My daughter makes me feel young. Most people my age already have 2 or 3 kids...so I am feeling young. Nathan got me roses and a new crock pot. I cut my finger on our old one and wanted to throw it out the window. Thanks, Honey. I also got lots of other things...thanks everyone. I am making a book out of all the blogs that I have done. I hope it turns out...I will let you know. XOXO-Erin

His Card!

Okay, if any of you were curious about the Father's Day card that Cheryl and I made for Nathan...here it is. She kept wanting to put her hands in her mouth...that was fun! Cheryl's feet are very ticklish too. So, here is the result. XOXO-Erin

Daddy!

From the very first moment that Nathan looked into our daughters eyes, I knew he would be a wonderful, caring, loving father. He held her first and looked at me and said, "I Love You!" My response was, "I Love You!" Wow, I am tearing up just remembering those first few moments that changed our lives forever. Nathan was now, and will forever be, a Daddy. He is the most understanding, kind, gentle, and wise Father to our sweet little Cheryl. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. Thank you Honey for all you do. Your the best. Cheryl and I made a Father's Day card for Nathan. We put footprints and hand prints on it. It was a little tricky but lots of fun! He also received the very first Father's Day tie....Nathan you are now officially a Dad! Dad, I love you. We have been though a lot and I will never stop loving you. Thank you for all that you have done for me and all that you are. I have to thank our Heavenly Father also. What a perfect Father to look up

Flash cards

Okay, so you all might think I am crazy. I have made my 5 month old Animal Alphabet Flash cards and 1 though 10 Number Flash cards. I know, I know, she cannot read yet. But, you can never do it too early right? I figure I have the time now, I might as well make them while I have a chance. She is growing so fast, and getting very heavy. She is my weight machine. The first for...

Okay, so the weather has been not that good lately. Until Friday. Nathan was off on Friday and it was a great day...so you know what we did. Yep, went to the pool. Cheryl had her first swim, and the water was a little chilly so we went to the hot tub and the water was just right(I sound like Goldie locks). She wore a diaper, because I was afraid that she would start pooping all over, and by the time we were done...which was about 10 minutes, her diaper was very heavy full of water. What a heavy baby she was. She also had her first apple. Well, sucking on what I ate. It was really cute. XOXO-Erin

Bangs...and Our Stylish Girl!

So, I finally got brave and did something drastic to my hair. I got bangs for the first time in my life.(or since I was a little girl) Now to some of you that actually do things like this to your hair every year...like Joi, it is not a big deal. Well, I don't. My hair has been the same style for, I don't know, a really long time. So, this is a really big deal to me. I look a little younger, which is really good, since I feel old this birthday month. And I won't say why, but I need my hair highlighted too. All in all, I kinda like the new change. Our cute little Love-Bug has on a adorable little outfit from Grandma Campbell. Thank you...she loves the elephant and I get so many compliments of the dress and cardigan at church. XOXO-Erin

Feeling Crafty

So, now I have many toys and no one to help pick them up yet. One of the things I can't wait for when Cheryl gets older. I made a toy bag for the side of her crib to catch all the fun toys that we now have. I made it in like a few hours so it is kinda sloppy...I might make another one that is bigger and better. I am pulling my sewing machine out permanently, because I really tend to use it all the time. I am sewing more dresses soon. XOXO-Erin

Well...

I have decided not to make the blog private...there are people that cannot look at it, that I would like to see it. I am not sure what I did but, for some reason it would not work. So, here you go. XOXO-Erin

Grandma visiting!

For the past two weeks we have had my Mom and my brother, Daniel visiting from Washington. We have had such a good time. Nathan and I were able to go on a date for the first time since the baby was born. We went to the movies(Star Trek) and to dinner at Iggy's. It has been almost a year since we have gone to the movies together. What a good movie to go to. Although half way through dinner I really missed Cheryl. Thanks mom for babysitting. My mom also had here birthday while she was here and so we had yummy birthday cheesecake. So, much for my diet. It was nice for Cheryl to have her Grandma around to bond with. We will miss you guys. I have been going on a walk every day and getting really tan. I have been so pale for a long time it is nice to be tan again. Nathan's work is picking up more in the summer, which is really good. Cheryl will soon be 5 months old and still super cute. Nathan and I are now the new Leaders in the junior primary in church. We have ten, one in a half y
