"Christ"mas!

We had a great Christmas! We went to Grandma and Grandpa Campbell's for Christmas eve and stayed over until Christmas day. My parents came out from California and also Aunt Jenny, Uncle John and Alex. It was fun to just sit there and eat tons of sweets. We came home to lots of snow and it is still snowing today. I can't wait to play in it. We decided not to give each other gifts this year....since we are having a baby within two weeks, and we kinda wanted to give to others too. Anyway, we are so happy that we are about to be parents. It couldn't come at a better time of year, when we are reflecting on Jesus Christ's birth. I have been teary eyed these past few days...we are so blessed and lucky to have what we have. Thank you all for everything you do for us and others. One of the Christmas cards we received said, "God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God." -Matthew 5:9 XOXO-Erin

How old are you, Nathan?

Happy Birthday Nathan! He is getting really old...not really, he is just 29. I got Nathan his first snow shovel, yes, the California man has been clearing the driveway of all the snow. Thank you, honey. He also got a cool BMX bike. I don't have enough words to express what I feel about him. All I can say is that I am truly flattered that God thought so much of me to put me with Nathan. Also, I took another picture of our finished tree. And again, I need Nathan's help to water that darn tree. Squats are kinda out of the question. It is totally worth it though, to have the smell of pine in our house. Love you so much, Babe! Next birthday will be way funner. XOXO-Erin

Tis the Season...

We had a fun weekend. On December 6th, we have been married for 5 years! Wow...seems like a long time. We went to Chili's for lunch, Dairy Queen for dinner and rented a couple movies. We also went and got a real Christmas tree. This will be the first year that we haven't had an artificial one. We were only able to put lights on it so far...but we will finish decorating it soon. I think we need more lights first. Not only did we start setting up for Christmas...it snowed on Monday and really made us feel like Christmas was coming. This year is really different, I don't really want anything under the tree. We are just so excited about having our baby girl that everything else seems less important. I wonder how Mary felt when she knew she was giving birth to the Savior? This year seems very special and I cannot wait to meet our little girl. I am so anxious and happy! XOXO-Erin

Thanksgiving with the Family!

We had my Family over for Thanksgiving. It was so much fun. We had Robbe and Christine, my parents...Cameron and Vivian, my brother and his wife...Heather and Danny and there kids, Daniel, Natalie, and Matthew, my sister and her husband and there kids. The kids were so cute and fun. Thank you to all of you guys for coming all the way from sunny California and spend time with me and Nathan in cold Utah. My sister Joi and her husband Rob weren't able to come, but I get to see her in a couple of weeks...I can't wait...we get to see Twilight! I think everyone was in the kitchen one time to help out. Thanks for letting me sit and put my pregnant feet up! We also went to Zion's the day after and it was so beautiful! The scenery was worth the drive. I can't wait to spend the Holidays with family next year. XOXO-Erin

Sunday seats!

Have you ever been late to church? We live about two min. away from our church building, so being late usually never happens. Well, we were late this Sunday and let me tell you it was not fun. I have to sit in the soft chair's because my legs ache when I sit on something hard. So, being late, the only seats that were available were the hard chairs in the back or the front seat that is for the handicapped. We went to the front and sat so close that we might as well sit on the stand. I am really not sure if we were supposed to sit there anyway, because it's reserved for handicapped. The entire time I had a kink in my neck from straining to see the speakers. I felt like I was at a movie and got the up close and personal section...ya know, the kind that it wasn't even worth going to the movie. Other than that....we had a great weekend. Just relaxing and enjoying the last few weeks that we have without a screaming baby. Although we can't wait till she comes. XOXO-Erin

I voted today!

I voted today...and let me tell you...it was so exciting! Well, not really, it was raining and cold and this old man was standing in line behind me and I think he was about to cough up a lung or just die on me. Poor guy...at least he voted though. I figured if the person I wanted to win didn't then I could at least complain about it, since I voted. And I voted for Cedar City to get a new city pool...I was pretty stoked about that. This is the weirdest year of voting, I think. Everyone acted like it was the end of days if you don't vote, so I am glad I did. XOXO-Erin

OH Sheep!

Cedar City has there Livestock Harvest Festival every year, and we were able to go. It was actually really fun. They parades a ton of tractor's, Carriages and beautiful horses down Main St. The best part was the Huge amount of Sheep. I thought that they were going to stampede all the people but they did really good and passed themselves down the street. Now you all know how small of a town I live in. XOXO-Erin

Pumpkin Carving!

We are always trying to do free or less expensive date's. So, we decided to carve pumpkins. It was so much fun! We even got a carving kit and I got all professional on my pumpkin and carved a witch. Nathan did a great job too...although he wanted his face on the pumpkin instead of his carving of the cowboy...which was way scarier, I thought. I love to celebrate all the funny little Holiday's. I also had another Doctor's appointment. I am now having to go to the Doctor's every two weeks...it seems excessive...but I am getting closer to my January 10th due date. Everything went good. I just need to eat more veggies and slow down on my exercising a little bit. The problem is that every time I eat veggies I about throw up, so I really hope I will be able to eat those nasty greens. I am now counting every day for her kicks. I have to count her kicking ten times in an hour...well, she really exceeds that. She must be a gymnast, because she kicks me about twenty times in an ho...

Waking up with a Smile in the Sky!

On Sunday morning I woke up and made pancakes for breakfast. I usually open the blinds to let the light in and found a bright yellow smiley face in the sky. Cedar City was having their annual hot air balloon show throughout the weekend. It was a really nice way of waking up to start my day. We then went to Stake Conference and it was a nice change of pace for the usual Sunday. Overall we had such a great day. XOXO-Erin

Nice Truckin Pics

At around 2:00 yesterday we found out the sex of our baby. Unfortunately it is my turn to blog. Yes, Erin finally let me. Too bad though, she really wanted to share the news with everyone, but it's not her turn. Sorry. So onward, feel free to browse these nice pictures of my semi. The top one took two days to load and about 16 stops. I got steel, vinyl, you name it. The middle pic is loaded for deliveries and about 10 stops. I got 10 ton of #5 re bar to be galvanized in Lindon. And the last pic is of an ant hill in our backyard. Don't want to step on these bad boys. -Nathan

It's Movie Time

I went to see the movie, Mama Mia...yes, I said it...Mama Mia. I am not really a musical movie watcher but I went with my mother in law, Bonnie and it was actually not too bad. The last musical a saw was Hairspray...and I really loved it, so I thought I would take a chance and see Mama Mia. If you like ABBA then you will love this movie. It really was a cute movie and not what I expected. Thanks Bonnie for a fun time...I haven't had a girls day in a while. XOXO-Erin

Weekend Projects

This weekend we have been very busy. I bought a rocking chair from Deseret Industries, a thrift store, for only $15 dollars. The only thing it needed was a new paint job. And that's where Nathan comes in...he spray painted it black and now it looks brand new. As if we paid $150 for it. It took a long time and he is still not completely done, but I think it was worth it. He also sprayed this cedar chest that my Dad made me for my graduation present. So, now we are going to make the cedar chest into a coffee table. Thanks Dad for letting us do so many modifications to it. And thank you Nathan for doing all these projects that I can't do while I am Prego! I am addicted to buying things cheap and revamping them into expensive pieces. Everyone keeps asking me when what we are having. I know I really look like I should know by now...I am really getting big. But, in just two weeks we will know. So, be patient for a little longer, Okay?! I can't wait either! XOXO-Erin

Yes! I got the Book

I am now starting to read the famous Breaking Dawn Book, the 4th and the last, in the series of the Twilight series of books. My mother in-law, Bonnie and me, along with our friend Donna, Bonnie's friend Anna and her friend, and probably half of the women in St.George...all went to a Midnight party to get this book. It was a lot of fun. Since I have been pregnant I have not stayed up past 10:00. We were there at the party until 1 a.m. and then we had to drive home to cedar...witch considering how many people there were, we actually got out of there quite fast. While we were at the party Nathan and his Dad hung out...so thank you Nathan...for staying up so late and driving us home. What a trooper! We slept all day the next day...and hopefully recovered our sleep by now. Anyway, thank you Bonnie...you always make everything so much fun...even if I am tired. I can't wait to start reading the book...now that Nathan is at work I plan on reading it all day today. While we were at Bar...

Some of my favorite pictures that I have taken.

Little friend in the garage!

Nathan was very busy this weekend. He put the baby room together and cleaned the garage out to fit the truck inside. As he was organizing or actually shuffling stuff from one side to another, he found a mouse. I know...we just moved in and already we have little creatures in our midst. We are thinking that we brought it with us from our old house. So...what do we do now!? Well, as I was watching to make sure the mouse didn't run in our house, Nathan shewed it out of the garage with broom. Our garage is connected to our neighbors garage by a wall. So, the funny thing is that the mouse ran right into the neighbors garage! The good thing is that the truck now fits safety in the garage without any mice. Yeah! Nathan you are good! That mouse would have lived in there forever if it wasn't for Nathan. Thanks, honey for protecting the fort. XOXO-Erin

Independence Day!

I love America! God bless America! We are so privileged to live in a free country. Nathan and I started seeing our neighbors getting on their roof tops and we figured that we could see the fireworks from our house. So we drove our truck over to the church behind our house and sat in the back of the truck and had a perfect view of the fireworks. They were small town fireworks but pretty good. We weren't stuck in traffic and we didn't have to worry about a crowd. The views are always amazing when you don't have any smog to worry about. I am so happy that we live in Utah, I love it here....I just wish my brother and sister's did too. XOXO-Erin

Family Fun weekend!

I am 12 weeks and counting...9 months seems like such a long time to incubate a baby. Although it is going by fairly fast. I am not pucky any more and I am feeling so much better. The only pain I am feeling is when I am going to bed, my legs start cramping up bad. I am eating a banana and taking calcium before I go to sleep...and so far nothing is working...I hope something does soon...or I just might cut my legs off. Any suggestions, anyone!? Anyway, I went swimming at my Grandma Campbell's with Aunt Jenny and Nathan, it was a lot of fun. Even though I got really burnt. The burn is finally starting to go away. I think I got sun poisoning because I felt really sick for a few days. I don't think I am going swimming again for a while. The bath tub will have to do for now. Also, we had a birthday celebration at my in-laws with Tina and Brad too...thanks for the ice cream cake...it it almost gone. And thanks for the movie...everyone should see Get Smart...very funny. We also had a ...

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yes, it is my birthday today. Thanks to everyone who took the time to wish me a happy one. Thanks to Nathan for being the best husband ever...and soon a wonderful Father. Thanks to Joi for being my best friend...really you help me more than you know. I really completely forgot about my birthday this year...I rememered on monday. If you know me well then you know that I don't forget my birthday...I usually remind people for months to focus on me. Last year I was dreading aging and now this year I don't seem so old. It is weird how pregnancy changes even my thoughts. I am so happy that I am having a baby I have completely forgot I had a birthday. I am now 28! Not that old I guess. This weekend Nathan and I are going out to Dinner and a Movie. Again, Everyone...thank you for everthing you do for me. XOXOXO- Erin

New Nephew, Matthew Ryan Williams!

Here is a picture that my sister sent me...this is her third baby. She already has a boy and a girl. What a cutie pie. Just wanted to show off my new nephew. He was almost 9 pounds. The mommy is doing fine and they are home from the hospital already. She delivered Monday morning around 4:30 a.m. And she didn't even have an epidural. Wow, what a trooper. XOXOXO- Erin

Father's Day!

On Father's Day we had Nathan's Dad, Joe and his wife, Bonnie over for Dinner. It was a lot of fun. We played the game Battle of the Sexes...and of course...you know who won, the women. But the guys did okay too. It was fun to catch up again. I was feeling so good that day. And we have some pics to show too. Bonnie, thanks for the great banana bread. So, yummy. XOXOXO- Erin
