September 7th, 2010

June Elise Christopherson, born on September 7th, 2010. We went to the Hospital to be induced for labor. Soon after I got the Epidural..very nice. And things happened fast. I wasn't dilated when we went in and next thing I knew I was three then five and Nathan said...I am gonna go get something to eat, I said we are having this baby fast you can't go anywhere. I had a cold so I kept blowing me nose and I blew so hard that I started having pain. Well, I must have pushed because I was fully dilated at that point. The doctor came and got things rolling. I pushed and pushed and there she was with the cord around her neck. The doctor quickly pulled it off and then yelled some code to the nurses and looked very worried. She was stuck by her shoulders. He almost had to break her collar bone to get her out. Then she came out, luckily all in one piece and perfect. She was born at 3:30 p.m. 8 pounds and 20 inches long. Our beautiful baby girl. Grandma and Grandpa Campbell soon came in with big sister Cheryl. We couldn't be happier with our two precious girls. And June is such a great baby. We love you baby June. Thank you all that helped in some way with our pregnancy and birth. We are grateful to Grandma and Grandpa Campbell for coming and taking care of Cheryl. She misses you and loved having you here. Thank you Daddy for being a great coach. And reading my mind when I need water and anything else. We are so happy with our girls.
XOXO-Erin

2 Years Old, Really?!

So, our little girl Cheryl Love turned 2 on January 5th! We actually have a 2 year old. Wow. It was so much fun. Cheryl loves monkey's and her new favorite movie is Jungle Book (if I let her she would watch it all day), so we decided to do a monkey themed birthday party. We had vines hanging from the ceiling and I even made a monkey cake. We had Bonnie my cousin and her daughters, Shaylee and Brooke and my cousin Adriann and her daughter Ivy and of course me, Nathan, CHERYL, and June. Plenty of people and poor Nathan the only boy. Oh well whats ya gonna do, huh? We had so much fun. We ate Jimmy Johns sandwiches(sorry Joi), and frozen banana Popsicles dipped in yogurt and they were really good. It is one of Cheryl's favorite snacks and healthy too. We played pin the banana on the monkey, without the blindfold. And of course ate cake and opened presents. Thanks to all who gave to Cheryl. Cheryl now has a big girl bed that she adores and loves to be in. Whew, I was so worried that...

Eternal Role

Today's Family: The Eternal Role of Mothers click on link to read the article http://www.lds.org/study/prophets-speak-today/unto-all-the-world/the-eternal-role-of-mothers?lang=eng I love this paragraph about mothers. "Among the most important roles of a mother is the call to nurture, Elder Ballard says. “A mother’s nurturing love arouses in children, from their earliest days on earth, an awakening of the memories of love and goodness they experienced in their pre-mortal existence,” he declares. “Because our mothers love us, we learn, or more accurately remember, that God also loves us.”" "Mommy, I love you!", Cheryl says as she wakes me up at 6:30 in the morning. "I love you too, honey", I say, as I hug her tight and never want to let her go. I will take those moments any chance I get, whether it's 6:30 in the morning or in the middle of the night while I am sick and holding my sick child. I have never felt that I truly found my...

No Excuses

June's Cooking Show! June always wants to cook and has been begging me to film her cooking. I had a million excuses, but I decided that June didn't care that she was in her jammies. She didn't care that the kitchen had bad lighting. She didn't even care what she made. She just wanted to have her mom film a video of her cooking in the kitchen (like she loves to do with me). So, with my IPhone in hand and all those excuses that I created I threw them out the window and decided to STEP UP and be the mom she wants and needs. We made the first video in 2017 and she loved it so much. We got busy and made more excuses. June didn't give up though. She wanted to do another video. So, on a school night I wanted to make banana bread and decided that we are already making it, so I might as well let June make it and film it. June loves to cook and watching her video's. I love her so much and I want her to do the things that she loves to do, so, I will continue to not ma...
