Busy

I have been so busy lately. Still cooking this baby...but hoping she will come early. We got some more visitors from California...my Parents, Robbe and Christine. They came right after Joi and Scotlin left. It was so much fun to have them here. They played a ton with Cheryl while I sat and they even cleaned my bathroom...which was pure bliss since I have a hard time with the chemical smells and cleaning that tub. I don't think I did the dishes once when they were here, that was so nice. And thanks Dad for breaking my new rocker glider. I need a new one now. We went to This is the Place, Pioneer village...I think it was 100 degrees that day, but it was fun. Also, we had a lot of good conversation...I used to not really like my parents...but I have to say I really like them now. Not just because they served me while they came. They are amazing people and fun to be around. After they came to visit...I made lists! I have been sewing, sewing, and sewing. Trying to get things done before baby arrives. I will post pictures of all the things I have sewn lately. But in the mean time, I am not done with my lists. I also decorated the girls room. Pink and Purple jungle theme...I think it turned out cute. Later Gater.

January 5th, 2009!

Cheryl Love Christopherson was born on 01-05-09, weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces, and 18 inches long. Happy Birthday, we love you! We went to the hospital at 2a.m. Monday morning to be induced for labor, they gave me Patocin to get it going...I was already dilated to 3 centimeters at that time. At around 11 or so I received the wonderful Epidural, Yeah! I still was not progressing, and next thing we knew Cheryl was not handling the contractions very well. They had to turn the Patocin off and turned the Epidural off...because I couldn't feel my legs at all. The doctor said if we don't progress and the contractions keep bugging the baby then we would have to do a C-section. Great! I thought...get this over with already....I don't care how! Well, I didn't have to have a C-section after all and by 5 p.m. I was finally in full dilation. Witch meant...Time to push, I pushed for 2 hours and there she was, a beautiful little girl at 7:18 p.m. What a long day, to say the least! Ther

Homemade Diaper Bag

I finally made a diaper bag for myself to replace the nasty old one I had. I am so far loving it a ton. I went from a pattern at first then scraped it and did my own design. I am happy with the result and now I am contemplating on making more and selling them. XOXO-Erin

When will she arrive?

My doctor has said that my due date is between January 5th to the 10th! I would like to know what everyone thinks when I will have this baby. Take a guess and whoever is the closest then we will name Cheryl's teddy bear after you! We are definitely ready now! We have a cradle, made by my Dad and also a great car seat and stroller finally. I think we were supposed to get that first, but oh well. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Campbell. Cheryl can now come home from the hospital and sleep in the cradle. XOXO-Erin
