28 weeks and counting

I am feeling pretty good right now. Although it is like 90 degrees outside and the bigger I get the hotter I get. It is kinda nice to just throw on some sandals and not have to ask someone to tie my shoes and even put them on me. I haven't gained as much weight this pregnancy and I can really tell the difference. I can actually move, which is really nice considering I have a toddler to wrangle. This little girl kicks me really hard, I think harder than Cheryl did. My sciatica isn't bothering me hardly at all anymore too. My sister Joi visited with her 3 month old daughter Scotlin and I was nervous to see if Cheryl, my 17 month old would be good around her. I was pleasantly surprised, she did so good with her, giving her kisses and putting the Binky in Scotty's mouth. I feel so much better having my second girl, knowing that Cheryl is going to be a great big sister. I can't wait to have my girl's play together.

HAHA Heather stole my line. I was going to say you looked like a HOT little mama too. Seriously though...you look great and I think you moved faster than I did when I was there. I guess I had an excuse...but still! hehe

January 5th, 2009!

Cheryl Love Christopherson was born on 01-05-09, weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces, and 18 inches long. Happy Birthday, we love you! We went to the hospital at 2a.m. Monday morning to be induced for labor, they gave me Patocin to get it going...I was already dilated to 3 centimeters at that time. At around 11 or so I received the wonderful Epidural, Yeah! I still was not progressing, and next thing we knew Cheryl was not handling the contractions very well. They had to turn the Patocin off and turned the Epidural off...because I couldn't feel my legs at all. The doctor said if we don't progress and the contractions keep bugging the baby then we would have to do a C-section. Great! I thought...get this over with already....I don't care how! Well, I didn't have to have a C-section after all and by 5 p.m. I was finally in full dilation. Witch meant...Time to push, I pushed for 2 hours and there she was, a beautiful little girl at 7:18 p.m. What a long day, to say the least! Ther...

Homemade Diaper Bag

I finally made a diaper bag for myself to replace the nasty old one I had. I am so far loving it a ton. I went from a pattern at first then scraped it and did my own design. I am happy with the result and now I am contemplating on making more and selling them. XOXO-Erin

When will she arrive?

My doctor has said that my due date is between January 5th to the 10th! I would like to know what everyone thinks when I will have this baby. Take a guess and whoever is the closest then we will name Cheryl's teddy bear after you! We are definitely ready now! We have a cradle, made by my Dad and also a great car seat and stroller finally. I think we were supposed to get that first, but oh well. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Campbell. Cheryl can now come home from the hospital and sleep in the cradle. XOXO-Erin
