Popcorn Balls

I have been craving popcorn balls. So, I made them today. I made Carmel and Rocky Road...without nuts. They are really good. Although I don't know how good they are for you. I made them with homemade popped popcorn, instead of the microwave kind. I think they taste much better that way. I now have a treat for the weekend...or for tomorrow, since my Hubby will eat them all. XOXO-Erin

Baby Bibs

I definitely need more bibs all the time. My daughter is a drooler and a spiter upper, big time. I cut up my husbands old shirt and make a bib, and made one with a C for Cheryl. I think they turned out good...now I just need to make a whole bunch more. XOXO-Erin
Thanks Shannon for the way cool photographer link. I would love to win some great pictures...which I will need soon. I have been married for almost 6 years and now we are about to get sealed in the LDS temple in Bountiful, Utah. I can't wait and I would love to get great pictures of it. So, here is the link to the photographer... http://allysonrandlephotography.blogspot.com XOXO-Erin

Car Seat Strap Protector

Today I made some Car Seat Strap Protector's for my daughter. I got the idea from my sister, Heather...Thanks. It was so easy to make that I wanted to share. I am out of my sewing machine this week, so I tried making this without it. I found this cool no-sew stuff and wanted to try it out. For this project all you need is, fabric, an Iron, Batting, Velcro, and either a sewing machine or no-sew iron on adhesive. If I had my sewing machine I would probably like to use that instead of the no sew stuff. It worked just fine, it just took a lot longer to iron on than it would take to sew it together. First I cut out some scrap fabric into 7 by 7 inch pieces. Then I got the Iron out. Ironed the edges, placed a thin piece of scrap batting(you can always use extra fabric if you don't have any batting). Ironed on the edges of the no-sew pieces except for one side which will be covered by Velcro so you don't need to bother with that one side. Iron all fabric together. Use the directio...

Another...

I finished sewing a dress a little while ago and forgot to show it off. This dress took a long time because I didn't have a pattern. It turned out pretty good, I think. Too bad it won't fit Cheryl...she grew way too fast before I was finished. My sewing machine is in the shop and I can't wait to get it back. Ya know the saying you don't know what you have until it is gone. I am wanting to sew even more. So, I organized my sewing stuff and fabric, now I am ready for my machine. XOXO-Erin
