Noggin, Snoze, Nose.

In December I had surgery on my nose. I had a deviated septum. And the Doctor said it was so bad that he didn't know how I could breath out of it. And that I would benefit from not only getting the inside fixed, but the outside too. If I just fixed the inside then I might have to get that surgery re-done in a few years, so I decided to get both done. Now that I was getting the outside done, I wanted to get the bump removed. So, on December 22st(The day after Nathans birthday) I had surgery on my nose. The night before my parents, and brother and his family came to help take care of the girls and spend Christmas together. Nathan took me in and while I was in surgery he went to get my prescription and hit a poll in the parking lot with the car. So, funny,  I had to share. So, I went home to recover and was completely out of it. I went later to watch Christmas video's and didn't remember just about everything, let alone even filming it all. About a week after, my nose was swelling pretty good and then came the wonderful day of taking the bandage off. Wow, new nose. It still was pretty swollen though. Everyone asks me if it was horrible with the gauze stuffed up my nose, and I say nope. I really couldn't breath before, and with the gauze up there, like 8 inches of it, it felt sort of normal. And when the Dr. took it out, that was the first time I could breath in over ten years. I still can't believe that I can close my mouth and not hear a whistling sound from my nose. I thing the I wasn't expecting was such a change internally with me. I thought that my nose was the only thing that changed but I truly went through a healing in my soul too. This was a very weired, emotional, and great experience and I am glad I did it.

So amazing Renin! You're so beautiful, but I always thought you were. I can't even remember what your old nose looked like. Glad you can breathe now and that I finally got to see your pretty face. hehe Love ya!

No Excuses

June's Cooking Show! June always wants to cook and has been begging me to film her cooking. I had a million excuses, but I decided that June didn't care that she was in her jammies. She didn't care that the kitchen had bad lighting. She didn't even care what she made. She just wanted to have her mom film a video of her cooking in the kitchen (like she loves to do with me). So, with my IPhone in hand and all those excuses that I created I threw them out the window and decided to STEP UP and be the mom she wants and needs. We made the first video in 2017 and she loved it so much. We got busy and made more excuses. June didn't give up though. She wanted to do another video. So, on a school night I wanted to make banana bread and decided that we are already making it, so I might as well let June make it and film it. June loves to cook and watching her video's. I love her so much and I want her to do the things that she loves to do, so, I will continue to not ma...

2 Years Old, Really?!

So, our little girl Cheryl Love turned 2 on January 5th! We actually have a 2 year old. Wow. It was so much fun. Cheryl loves monkey's and her new favorite movie is Jungle Book (if I let her she would watch it all day), so we decided to do a monkey themed birthday party. We had vines hanging from the ceiling and I even made a monkey cake. We had Bonnie my cousin and her daughters, Shaylee and Brooke and my cousin Adriann and her daughter Ivy and of course me, Nathan, CHERYL, and June. Plenty of people and poor Nathan the only boy. Oh well whats ya gonna do, huh? We had so much fun. We ate Jimmy Johns sandwiches(sorry Joi), and frozen banana Popsicles dipped in yogurt and they were really good. It is one of Cheryl's favorite snacks and healthy too. We played pin the banana on the monkey, without the blindfold. And of course ate cake and opened presents. Thanks to all who gave to Cheryl. Cheryl now has a big girl bed that she adores and loves to be in. Whew, I was so worried that...

Does anyone have a trank gun!

Sometimes I feel like a toddler, discovering my belly button for the first time. My belly button is so unrecognizable now. The only problem I am finding about being pregnant is all the body changes. I mean, weight! Being thin for 28 years then ballooning up in a matter of months has really scared me. I know, I know, everyone says that I will loose it all very quickly, but I still don't like it. At church I looked down at my feet and ankles and realized that I no longer have any ankles...they have morphed into cankles...Yuk! I was so discussed that I almost threw up. I wish I was one of those women who don't gain hardly anything and don't really look like they are pregnant until they give birth. Okay, enough of poor me! It's not hard to remind myself that I am pregnant though...I can't go an hour without her kicking me. There is life in there...I am so happy whenever I can feel her. I am happy really easily...just give me chips or ice cream and I am fine. Which isn...
