FIrst Pregers Picture

Okay I really didn't want to take pictures this time around, but Nathan talked me into it. I guess I should give this pregnancy the same treatment as the first one. So, here you go this is what I look like at 18 weeks, 4 1/2 months pregnant. I really haven't been too sick at all. I have my days of being nauseous and then I just have to rest and eat and I am okay. I am getting more tired these days. Just can't do twenty things in one day anymore. I have been craving crazy foods too..I would like to eat a onion like a apple, and would really like to eat some tires...yes tires...they sound really yummy and smell really good. I want fruit and veggies and not much else. I don't really want hamburger, it sounds gross but I can actually eat it and have no problem. The image of raw meat makes me sick. And just like the first pregnancy I am craving steak...every day all day, Yum. So, far having a toddler and being pregant isn't too bad. Next Friday I will find out what we are having...and I am really excited.

No Excuses

June's Cooking Show! June always wants to cook and has been begging me to film her cooking. I had a million excuses, but I decided that June didn't care that she was in her jammies. She didn't care that the kitchen had bad lighting. She didn't even care what she made. She just wanted to have her mom film a video of her cooking in the kitchen (like she loves to do with me). So, with my IPhone in hand and all those excuses that I created I threw them out the window and decided to STEP UP and be the mom she wants and needs. We made the first video in 2017 and she loved it so much. We got busy and made more excuses. June didn't give up though. She wanted to do another video. So, on a school night I wanted to make banana bread and decided that we are already making it, so I might as well let June make it and film it. June loves to cook and watching her video's. I love her so much and I want her to do the things that she loves to do, so, I will continue to not ma...

Homemade

I am always trying to find ways to save money wherever I can. So, I decided to make some homemade laundry detergent. While I was visiting my parents in California I went to a Relief Society Birthday Party in there ward and that is where I got the great idea of making laundry detergent. I tried a couple loads from the sample I got and it was great...just like Tide. So, I made a huge batch. And it was super easy too. It calls for: 1 bar Fels-Naptha bar soap 2 cups 20 Mule Team Borax 2 cups Arm & Hammer washing soda You just grate the soap, like you would cheese. Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container. You only use 2 Tbsp. per load. (tsp. for HE washers) Everything was very inexpensive and much less than I would spend on regular Laundry detergent. I just wanted to share my money saving idea. XOXO-Erin

Homemade Diaper Bag

I finally made a diaper bag for myself to replace the nasty old one I had. I am so far loving it a ton. I went from a pattern at first then scraped it and did my own design. I am happy with the result and now I am contemplating on making more and selling them. XOXO-Erin
