It's a Bird! It's a Plane!...No, it's a Really Swollen Pregnant Lady!



It's been a little while since I have complained about the wonderful changes that I am going through...so I thought I would catch everyone up on them. First things first, I have major unexplainable heartburn...if that's what you call it. I have polished a bottle of tums in a mere two weeks. Tums are like candy to me now. I also am swelling up everywhere...my ankles mostly. I am still trying to exercise every day and I must say I do feel much better when I do. Although it doesn't get rid of my heartburn/acid reflux crap. Everyone is asking me..."when are you due? You look like your going to pop right now!" Let me give you a little hint...do not say that to pregnant women...it is kinda rude. I feel like a house...so I don't need to hear that I look like one too! I feel like I have a long ways to go still. Really I do feel pretty good. I just like to complain.

hint of the day: suck on jolly rancher candy or something like htat. It will help with the heartburn adn the acid reflux..I had them both. They really really help..and taste better than tums...and try gum too. hang in there..it is all worth it!!

I feel for you, I really do. I had heartburn so bad with Aliya and I spent most nights sleeping on the chair in the living room cause it hurt way too bad to lie down. Hang in there. I got your cute Shower invite. I already RSVPed to Christine. Sure wish I would of had that jolly rancher tip. :)

Well I'm not going to give you any advice, because I don't have any yet. I think you're beautiful any size and I can't wait to see you and your wonderful belly! Hopefully the swelling doesn't hurt sweetie. It will be over soon enough and you will wonder where the time went. Miss you!

Ohhhhhhhhh the dreaded heartburn! I can sympathize!! Just think-it will all soon be over and little Cheryl will be here!

YAY I like your background and such too! Very cute. I am having a great day! I love the flowers you sent me! Thank you soooo much. Everyone's like - who sent you those? and I told them my little sister did. hehe They have Snake grass in them...remember when we used to play with that all the time in Springville? Did you have it put in there on purpose? I love them...and I love you!

Cheryl Love Christopherson was born on 01-05-09, weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces, and 18 inches long. Happy Birthday, we love you! We went to the hospital at 2a.m. Monday morning to be induced for labor, they gave me Patocin to get it going...I was already dilated to 3 centimeters at that time. At around 11 or so I received the wonderful Epidural, Yeah! I still was not progressing, and next thing we knew Cheryl was not handling the contractions very well. They had to turn the Patocin off and turned the Epidural off...because I couldn't feel my legs at all. The doctor said if we don't progress and the contractions keep bugging the baby then we would have to do a C-section. Great! I thought...get this over with already....I don't care how! Well, I didn't have to have a C-section after all and by 5 p.m. I was finally in full dilation. Witch meant...Time to push, I pushed for 2 hours and there she was, a beautiful little girl at 7:18 p.m. What a long day, to say the least! Ther...

Does anyone have a trank gun!

Sometimes I feel like a toddler, discovering my belly button for the first time. My belly button is so unrecognizable now. The only problem I am finding about being pregnant is all the body changes. I mean, weight! Being thin for 28 years then ballooning up in a matter of months has really scared me. I know, I know, everyone says that I will loose it all very quickly, but I still don't like it. At church I looked down at my feet and ankles and realized that I no longer have any ankles...they have morphed into cankles...Yuk! I was so discussed that I almost threw up. I wish I was one of those women who don't gain hardly anything and don't really look like they are pregnant until they give birth. Okay, enough of poor me! It's not hard to remind myself that I am pregnant though...I can't go an hour without her kicking me. There is life in there...I am so happy whenever I can feel her. Boy or Girl?

Does anyone want to know if we are having a boy or girl? Well, I went to the Doctor on Tuesday, while Nathan was in Salt Lake working. They have the ultrasound technician there only on Tuesdays and there was no way that Nathan could be there because he goes to SLC every week for work. So, we didn't want to share the pictures from the ultrasound until Nathan saw them first. Then we had another appointment at the doctor's for a check up on Friday. I am gaining so much weight it is disgusting. Before I went to the first appointment, I gave our baby a pep talk...you know, to be photogenic and all that. Our baby did so good. Oh, I haven't said what we are having, have I!? Okay, no more stalling, boy oh boy, we are having a baby girl! We couldn't be happier, and now we can buy tons of pink.
