Prego and Loving it!

We are so stoked that we are finally pregnant...after only 2 years of trying. Being Pregnant is very weird. My body is changing to unknown proportions, I am moody, sickly, throw-uppy, achy, happy, and a ton of other emotions and feelings I have never had before. It is quite strange. I really feel for women who do it alone...I could never. Having Nathan there...(more than ever)...has really helped me so much. Here is something weird though...I heard that if you put music on your belly than it helps the development and soothes your baby. Anyway, I put classical music on my belly and started feeling nauseous right away. Then I started putting rock music and I instantly felt better and relaxed. I guess we have a rocker inside me.

Thank you, all our friends and family...we never knew how much we needed you and it's wonderful having such great people in our lives.
XOXOXO-Erin

January 5th, 2009!

Cheryl Love Christopherson was born on 01-05-09, weighing 6 pounds 11 ounces, and 18 inches long. Happy Birthday, we love you! We went to the hospital at 2a.m. Monday morning to be induced for labor, they gave me Patocin to get it going...I was already dilated to 3 centimeters at that time. At around 11 or so I received the wonderful Epidural, Yeah! I still was not progressing, and next thing we knew Cheryl was not handling the contractions very well. They had to turn the Patocin off and turned the Epidural off...because I couldn't feel my legs at all. The doctor said if we don't progress and the contractions keep bugging the baby then we would have to do a C-section. Great! I thought...get this over with already....I don't care how! Well, I didn't have to have a C-section after all and by 5 p.m. I was finally in full dilation. Witch meant...Time to push, I pushed for 2 hours and there she was, a beautiful little girl at 7:18 p.m. What a long day, to say the least! Ther...

When will she arrive?

My doctor has said that my due date is between January 5th to the 10th! I would like to know what everyone thinks when I will have this baby. Take a guess and whoever is the closest then we will name Cheryl's teddy bear after you! We are definitely ready now! We have a cradle, made by my Dad and also a great car seat and stroller finally. I think we were supposed to get that first, but oh well. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Campbell. Cheryl can now come home from the hospital and sleep in the cradle. XOXO-Erin

Our Baby Girl's Room

The Baby room is getting more attention now. I have decorated the walls and put new bedding in the crib. I thought about painting the walls but I think it looks better with the original cream color. I really didn't want to much going on in there. She is one lucky girl to have all this attention to her room. If you didn't notice from the pictures we have decided to name her Cheryl Love Christopherson. She is named after her Grandma Christopherson that has passed away from breast cancer. She was a amazing woman and so little Cheryl has some big shoes to fill. My next project is to make some cute little dresses for her. We can't wait for her arrival. XOXO-Erin
