Lots of changes...

First of all June has been doing tons of things. Junie-Bug is 7 months old now. Wow, that went fast. She is now crawling....everywhere. She just got her first tooth on the bottom. And she no longer has to wear her helmet. Yep, only two months of wearing it and she has a normal looking head. That was fast. She has been so excited that it's off that she is crawling at full speed anywhere she goes. I think that the helmet held her back a little, it was always in the way. She has also been eating baby food. June is such a good eater, but very messy.

Cheryl is 2 years and 3 months old now. Our little Monkey(that's what I call her). Smarter every day. I have started potty training her a couple weeks ago, then she had to get her 2 year old shots and I gave her a couple days off that turned into a couple weeks. I am definitely starting back up with her soon. She was doing really good too. She has a potty chart and everything.

As far as me and Nathan. We are good. Just busy working, being parents and trying to do it all...as much as possible, I should say. I have been doing a blog with Joi, my sister called Heck Fridays....check it out it is a lot of fun. And Nathan is busy working on our truck. It's almost fixed. I hope. I got a new double stroller and I can't wait to use it. When the snow is all gone. Well, back to rangling the girls.

No Excuses

June's Cooking Show! June always wants to cook and has been begging me to film her cooking. I had a million excuses, but I decided that June didn't care that she was in her jammies. She didn't care that the kitchen had bad lighting. She didn't even care what she made. She just wanted to have her mom film a video of her cooking in the kitchen (like she loves to do with me). So, with my IPhone in hand and all those excuses that I created I threw them out the window and decided to STEP UP and be the mom she wants and needs. We made the first video in 2017 and she loved it so much. We got busy and made more excuses. June didn't give up though. She wanted to do another video. So, on a school night I wanted to make banana bread and decided that we are already making it, so I might as well let June make it and film it. June loves to cook and watching her video's. I love her so much and I want her to do the things that she loves to do, so, I will continue to not ma...

Homemade

I am always trying to find ways to save money wherever I can. So, I decided to make some homemade laundry detergent. While I was visiting my parents in California I went to a Relief Society Birthday Party in there ward and that is where I got the great idea of making laundry detergent. I tried a couple loads from the sample I got and it was great...just like Tide. So, I made a huge batch. And it was super easy too. It calls for: 1 bar Fels-Naptha bar soap 2 cups 20 Mule Team Borax 2 cups Arm & Hammer washing soda You just grate the soap, like you would cheese. Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container. You only use 2 Tbsp. per load. (tsp. for HE washers) Everything was very inexpensive and much less than I would spend on regular Laundry detergent. I just wanted to share my money saving idea. XOXO-Erin

Homemade Diaper Bag

I finally made a diaper bag for myself to replace the nasty old one I had. I am so far loving it a ton. I went from a pattern at first then scraped it and did my own design. I am happy with the result and now I am contemplating on making more and selling them. XOXO-Erin
