Updates...and new hardware

 Cheryl loves to dance
 Her new time-out stool
or we like to call it, the naughty stool
 Happy and coloring
 Super cute, hugging her crayon
 Junes new fancy helmet
 Purple with butterflies
 What a cutie pie
I call her my little piggy, she just grunts instead of crying. Just like a little piggy
 Beautiful sisters
 Say cheese
 Up close and personal
 Just about 6 months old
 And ready to crawl
Get going girl

Since June was about 2 months old we noticed that she wanted to lay on one side of her head more than the other. Because of that she developed a flat spot on the back of her head. Further research we had to get her some fashionable hardware to help her head grow into a better shape. So far it's going well and she will probably only have it for 3 months. Luckily she is such a easy going baby that the helmet doesn't bother her at all. Cheryl also is growing and learning more. She now gets to sit on a Naughty stool to learn to be a better girl. My next task will be potty training. Yikes. Pray for me I am gonna need it. She is such a smart girl, so I am hoping that all will go well.  Our girls are growing rapidly, and I am loving every minute of it. We also had a quick trip out to California to go to Nathan's grandmother's funeral. Sad circumstances, but we loved to see family, we just wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks to my Parents for the dinner at Spaghetti Factory. It was a lot of fun. We miss you all tons.

June looks very cute with her helmet. Gillian had one of those for a while too when she was small. And Cheryl is just adorable-her personality really shows through her pictures

No Excuses

June's Cooking Show! June always wants to cook and has been begging me to film her cooking. I had a million excuses, but I decided that June didn't care that she was in her jammies. She didn't care that the kitchen had bad lighting. She didn't even care what she made. She just wanted to have her mom film a video of her cooking in the kitchen (like she loves to do with me). So, with my IPhone in hand and all those excuses that I created I threw them out the window and decided to STEP UP and be the mom she wants and needs. We made the first video in 2017 and she loved it so much. We got busy and made more excuses. June didn't give up though. She wanted to do another video. So, on a school night I wanted to make banana bread and decided that we are already making it, so I might as well let June make it and film it. June loves to cook and watching her video's. I love her so much and I want her to do the things that she loves to do, so, I will continue to not ma...

Homemade

I am always trying to find ways to save money wherever I can. So, I decided to make some homemade laundry detergent. While I was visiting my parents in California I went to a Relief Society Birthday Party in there ward and that is where I got the great idea of making laundry detergent. I tried a couple loads from the sample I got and it was great...just like Tide. So, I made a huge batch. And it was super easy too. It calls for: 1 bar Fels-Naptha bar soap 2 cups 20 Mule Team Borax 2 cups Arm & Hammer washing soda You just grate the soap, like you would cheese. Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container. You only use 2 Tbsp. per load. (tsp. for HE washers) Everything was very inexpensive and much less than I would spend on regular Laundry detergent. I just wanted to share my money saving idea. XOXO-Erin

Homemade Diaper Bag

I finally made a diaper bag for myself to replace the nasty old one I had. I am so far loving it a ton. I went from a pattern at first then scraped it and did my own design. I am happy with the result and now I am contemplating on making more and selling them. XOXO-Erin
