Baby, Baby

So, I am getting bigger....which is good since I have a baby growing inside me. She better be getting bigger too, not just me. Trying to find time to focus on this pregnancy with a toddler distracting me is kinda hard. I am having to rest a lot more than I would like to. The larger I get the more my back is hurting and that darn sciatic nerve is driving me crazy. But, other than that I am so happy that I am having another baby girl. Cheryl said ruff ruff, like a dog today and I burst into tears. My little baby is growing so fast. She has been saying all kinds of words. She can say, Hi, Juice, Icky, Yummmy, Mama, Daddy, Baby, Meow, Ruff, and of course Eee Eee, Ohh Ohh, (from a Monkey). All these words and maybe more. It seems like there is a new word every day. My sweet precious girl is growing so quickly and I am loving every minute of it. I am so excited to see our second baby girl and what her personality is. Cheryl is just a happy as can be sweetheart. She smiles at everyone and says, Hi, like twenty times. She loves people. I am so blessed to have her in my life. Pregnancy is definitely more tolerable since I have Cheryl to make my day so fun and wonderful. And with a handsome husband that says I am still beautiful with my constant weight gain, you can't go wrong with that combo. Sorry if I am making everyone jealous, I am just so grateful that I had to share.

I'm not jealous! hehe I have a beautiful bambina too and a gorgeous hubbie that kisses me everyday and makes me feel special! I am glad I don't have a prego belly right now too...although I would like to be a little more healthier. That would be nice. I love ya sis and can't wait to meet your second little sweetheart. Give Cherry a big hug from her auntie for me!

No Excuses

June's Cooking Show! June always wants to cook and has been begging me to film her cooking. I had a million excuses, but I decided that June didn't care that she was in her jammies. She didn't care that the kitchen had bad lighting. She didn't even care what she made. She just wanted to have her mom film a video of her cooking in the kitchen (like she loves to do with me). So, with my IPhone in hand and all those excuses that I created I threw them out the window and decided to STEP UP and be the mom she wants and needs. We made the first video in 2017 and she loved it so much. We got busy and made more excuses. June didn't give up though. She wanted to do another video. So, on a school night I wanted to make banana bread and decided that we are already making it, so I might as well let June make it and film it. June loves to cook and watching her video's. I love her so much and I want her to do the things that she loves to do, so, I will continue to not ma...

Homemade

I am always trying to find ways to save money wherever I can. So, I decided to make some homemade laundry detergent. While I was visiting my parents in California I went to a Relief Society Birthday Party in there ward and that is where I got the great idea of making laundry detergent. I tried a couple loads from the sample I got and it was great...just like Tide. So, I made a huge batch. And it was super easy too. It calls for: 1 bar Fels-Naptha bar soap 2 cups 20 Mule Team Borax 2 cups Arm & Hammer washing soda You just grate the soap, like you would cheese. Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container. You only use 2 Tbsp. per load. (tsp. for HE washers) Everything was very inexpensive and much less than I would spend on regular Laundry detergent. I just wanted to share my money saving idea. XOXO-Erin

2 Years Old, Really?!

So, our little girl Cheryl Love turned 2 on January 5th! We actually have a 2 year old. Wow. It was so much fun. Cheryl loves monkey's and her new favorite movie is Jungle Book (if I let her she would watch it all day), so we decided to do a monkey themed birthday party. We had vines hanging from the ceiling and I even made a monkey cake. We had Bonnie my cousin and her daughters, Shaylee and Brooke and my cousin Adriann and her daughter Ivy and of course me, Nathan, CHERYL, and June. Plenty of people and poor Nathan the only boy. Oh well whats ya gonna do, huh? We had so much fun. We ate Jimmy Johns sandwiches(sorry Joi), and frozen banana Popsicles dipped in yogurt and they were really good. It is one of Cheryl's favorite snacks and healthy too. We played pin the banana on the monkey, without the blindfold. And of course ate cake and opened presents. Thanks to all who gave to Cheryl. Cheryl now has a big girl bed that she adores and loves to be in. Whew, I was so worried that...
